Tomek: That's exactly what i was looking for. I've been trying to design the rig itself mainly. The project suggestion helps too. Thanks for the info and quick response!

hej goeff,

what exactly you wane know about the setUp, there are some pics of the inside on flickr
http://www.flickr.com/photos/21731475@N08/2819361660/

camera: PIKE F-145B/C
http://www.alliedvisiontec.de/avt-products/cameras/pike.html
(but we didn't got the full frame rate, because windows is slowing done the firewire 800 on default)

lighting:
selfmade led arrays, with 400 leds in total
(if you need i can look for the datasheet and send you some close up pics of the arrays)

projector:
Panasonic PT AE1000E/U
http://www.hcinema.de/pro/ansp.php?angabe=panasonicptae1000u
(for the price it is a really nice one, but the clamp for the lense is not perfect (the lense shift from time to time)

thats all, you should get a nice fast computer but there is nothing special in the setup,

contact us if you want get some more infos, but i don't know if i would recommend the setup we are using for further projects, there might be a better solutions placing projector and camera at the same position and using the same mirror for both.

Looks great!
Do you have any more detailed specs on the hardware? I've been looking to attempt a DIY project similar to this myself and have been trying to find all the reading material i can on the subject.
